Keller Williams

Consumer website for Keller Williams real estate company. Web application for Keller Williams, one of the largest real estate companies in the United States. I joined the project a month after it commenced as the front-end lead developer.

Role: Front-end lead developer. Instrumental in building the project skeleton, ensuring extendibility, integrating backend/third-party tools, code review, refactoring. The project consisted of coordinated front-end and back-end teams, with 20 members at its peak.

Technical Details: The front-end architecture was robust, utilizing React and GraphQL. We implemented react-intl for internationalization and developed a custom React validation engine. The web application effectively integrates with Google Maps services. Significant effort was dedicated to enhancing searching and filtering functionality. In subsequent phases, the web app was successfully extended to support different variations of the website on the same source code, including agent, business, and market center sites. Each variation featured its own routing system and the capability to override components for a distinct appearance and functionality.
